You have to use the 50 SCSI port in the back to a computer or some other SCSI drive. When exporting 24 bit clipboard data as 16 bit data, you can select whether dithering will be performed. If dithering is performed, quantization noise will be less obvious. It is not possible to export to a CD device (CD-R, CD-RW). I have tried to create a wav and save it to the built-in CD-R but it's not possible. Does anyone know about this machine. I have the earliest MAC G5 tower and the Korg D1600. If I get some sort of SCSI cable and attach the two, will I be able to save the wav files to my Mac. Do I need to buy a FAT 16 DOS Drive. The scenes, in addition, both record volume levels that effect settings. I would put just a little flat on the effects, because using them is not very easy. Maybe my age is it relevant?? SOUNDS Nothing to say.I use for my part, a tube preamp and a compressor (which is not a requirement with the D1600 !). This allows me to focus on other effects available on the Korg. I used an earlier 8 tracks with Roland COSM effects simulation unique to that manufacturer. Nevertheless, the result is at the top, the momentum is there, and the converters are absolute discretion. But I see no mention in the manual (linked below) of being able to use it as a computer interface. The words 'USB' or even 'Firewire' do not appear in the manual. So I'm afraid your answer is no. It is essentially a self-contained recorder. You can record only 2 tracks in real time. But you don't need to plug and uplug your devices again and again if you use the Korg as an input.
