He's installed the full client (not with the download manager) and patched and everything and when he clicks play he sees a black square that stays there and the game never loads. As far as your vid card, the extra 2GB is definitely worth it in my opinion. Especially if you buy a 2nd and SLI them, that would be better than a single 580. But if you have the money I def woulda taken a 580 over the single 560 2GB if you dont plan on getting a second 560 2GB (gotta get 2GB on second 560 as well). But if you go with a 580, the 580 classified that is going to be coming out soon is prob your best bet. Maybe you can step-up to it. In most games that I play I use up more than 1GB of VRAM with my GTX 275. Also, I assume battlefield 3 is going to need the full power of the 580 at max settings. Obviously the best build would have two or three 580 3GB, but I assume that is out of your budget.The 2Gb memory isnt a big deal now, but may help if you get these HQ texture packs that some developers releases nowadays, like crysis 2 and dragon age 2, also there is BF3 on the way. My friend has a lower 1gb card then me and same CPU and says he gets no choppiness in LoL so something is going on! Here are some scores which include your 560ti. Extra VRAM wont make a difference in this prog. But the fact they tested this on a system with an i7-920 will mean their scores will be a bit higher. I would think your scores will be within 5 fps of theirs. Also, that extra VRAM will help in games that have been out for a while now, like Metro 2033 and any version of Crysis. That is when being compared to the 560ti 1GB. Another recommendation is to upgrade your cpu, mobo, and ram when Ivy Bridge is released Q1 2012.
